Before fitting your rear window decal you must remove any bubbles from under the application tape as per the video below.
PREPARATION IS KEY
DO NOT fit the decal in wet or rainy conditions.
Water will stop the decal sticking before its applied.
DO NOT Remove the whole decal from the backing paper in one go.
It WILL stick to whatever it touches and destroy the decal.
Ensure you follow the guide included with the decal.
I have also added a short video here (not mine) it’s just to show you how to install it hassle free.
You can also search for “Hinge method” on youtube for easy to follow guides. but not the wet method.
If you think there is an issue with the vinyl and the stickiness – THERE ISN’T
The vinyl used for our rear window decals is the same vinyl we use everyday for prints and other vinyl designs.
If there was a problem with your vinyl there would be a problem with the whole 50m log of vinyl. meaning everything we made would be affected.
We would be able to see any issue during the cutting process.
An issue with the sticking of the vinyl. Thiis down to preparation of the surface as advised in the included instructions.
Any dirt, dust, wax, cleaning agents, polish or other cleaning agents will render the adhesive useless.
I have fitted decals to cars which have lasted well over 7 years.
